You have to be warm, bright and friendly. You'll be organised, conscientious, discreet and polite. You'll need at least a basic communication level of English language.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC
1. Cleaning a set number of guest rooms each day to the standards required
2. Reporting any damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor
3. Carrying out guest requests such as extra beds, pillows, bathroom supplies
4. Completing deep cleaning projects as required
5. To remove soiled an marked bed linen from all linen cupboards or as found and separate them to rejected linen
6. Cleaning, maintaining and vacuuming of staircases, corridors, storage areas and all other associated areas as and when instructed by Housekeeping Supervisor
7. Replenishing linen cupboard daily after delivery
8. To be responsible for the daily worksheet, handing in the completed sheet at the end of the shift
Working hours 8 hrs a day (8am – 4pm), based on a Rota system, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.
