Location: Various stores in London
Position: SIA licensed security officer for retail static sites only
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Times: 40 hrs/week
Pay Rate: from £7.51 + £0.91 (holiday pay) = £8.42 / hour
We are currently looking for Security Officers to join the Kingfisher Guarding Retail Team for various stores across London.
General duties and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
• Provide a high standard of customer care and customer safety
• Access Control
• Monitoring CCTV camera
• Patrolling the store
• Deter criminal activity
• To prevent any risk of product losses in the store due to theft and to be VIGILANT at all times
• Report any suspicious activity to Kingfisher Guarding Management.
To be successful in these roles you will need the following:
• A valid SIA Door Supervision license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including fluent, spoken English
• A minimum of 1 year retail security experience
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Very well organised and good time management
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a strong team
• experience in a customer facing role with the ability to deal with challenging situations
• An aptitude for working with the public
• Flexible and able to work weekends, days or nights
