Experienced property maintenance engineer / handyman required to start immediately.
Work includes (but is not limited to):
- General maintenance and repairs including basic plumbing and electrics.
- Landscape maintenance
- Painting and decorating
- Flooring
- Tiling
- Furniture assembly.
We are a successful small company with almost 20 years’ experience of working in supported housing projects where residents are vulnerable. The work is varied so one day you may be mowing lawns or changing a lock, the next you could be unblocking a toilet or fitting a bathroom. You will start by supporting our experienced handymen but we are looking for someone who can progress to working alone.
We are looking for someone who is hard working, reliable and serious with:
- experience in similar role with references to back this up.
- Excellent presentation and attitude.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
- Ability to organise workload and keep good written records.
- Enthusiasm, initiative and commitment.
- Full clean UK driving licence and aged over 25 (for insurance).
- Permission to work in UK.
You must be able to travel daily to our offices in Tooting but you will work across London.
Tools and uniform provided. Own vehicle not required.
Starting Salary in region of £27k. Permanent Paye position.
