Montana Hotel is a unique 55-room boutique hotel situated in the heart of Kensington, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. The Light of India Restaurant and Bar is a part of the establishment. It is a classy and elegant Indian bar and restaurant established in 1984 – a place where a traditional setting and delicious Indian food triumph.
The role:
The Light of India Restaurant and Bar is looking for just the right person to join our team. The first impression is the most important. This is not a security position. You would be responsible for ensuring that all our customers consistently receive the best service from a warm welcome on arrival and the most important final point of contact on departure.
We are looking for a person who is charming, well presented and hospitable.

Duties will include:

Welcoming all guests on arrival at the restaurant in a friendly and professional manner.
Handling guests’ requests in an efficient manner, such as calling a taxi, giving directions and providing customers with more Information about the restaurants, menus and offers.
Ensuring that the lobby is kept clear and that customers do not have to queue.
Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
Inspecting daily, all external areas, reporting any defects, security or any other concerns to the General Manager.

Requirements:

You will need very good communication skills.
Excellent presentation – you will be required to wear an Indian uniform with head gear.
Have had some previous experience as a Door person working within a high-end customer service establishment.

You will need to be able to work from 4.30pm-9.30pm.
