A growing firm specialising in immigration is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has obtained the LPC and is looking to progress within the immigration sector with view to progress to qualify within the firm.
The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of immigration matters including visas, EEA free movement, detention and detained asylum casework procedures, and Asylum and human rights.
In order to succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with clients and professional bodies on a day-to-day basis. Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Drafting and submitting representations to the Home Office
-Building your own caseload and assisting the files of fee-earners
-Maintain good professional working relationships internally and with external institutions and organisations
