Looking for a long-term nanny for a 3 year old boy. Candidate must already live close to Kensington/Holland park and be familiar with the area. No pets at home, just one child, both parents work. In your cover letter please state - where you live/would be commuting from, familiarly with Kensington/Holland park area, if you speak any other languages and your level of English (we need someone with proper English), Russian/English speaker a plus but not requirement. We are open to consider a live-in candidate, if the nanny has long-term experience living with another family.
Need someone with at least 5 years of prior nanny experience (not counting experience with younger relatives), particularly with toddlers and someone who loves children. experience working in a nursery school setting is a strong plus, first aid childcare certifications/DBS, and interest in speech and early development preferred. Child is in nursery until 1pm every day. 25 hours per week (12:30-5:30), but can increase to 40 + if  the nanny is comfortable helping the family with other tasks such as grocery shopping, cooking healthy meals for dinner, laundry, keeping kitchen/home organised. We do not need a housekeeper, as we have someone who comes weekly to clean the floors, bathrooms, etc. Childcare duties include pick up from nursery, taking him to activities/park close to home. Requirement to be comfortable making friends with other nannies to set up play dates, and good communication skills with family. He is fully potty trained, so that job is done. No need to drive.
