We are currently hiring talented (full or part time) Senior Hair Stylists for our Boutique Salon in Bloomsbury, London.
And also a bright young assistant to shampoo and work the reception. We can train you on the job.
Candidates for Hair Stylist should ;
Be entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and have at least 5 years experience working in a busy 'appointment only' Hair Salon.
Have an up to date knowledge of contemporary colour techniques, modern classic hair styles and be able to manage yourself working within the team.
Be able to speak good English, be friendly, and have great customer service skills.
Working alongside the salon Director you will be taught many unique cutting techniques and colouring methods unique to Suedey.
Ideally you would have your own existing clientele or be willing to generate new customers (and take on some of ours) through your skill, expertise and consistency. I can also offer you a Chair Rental agreement.
Most of our work is colour, restyling and cutting.
Salary is based on Your commission being 60%.
You would work freelance within the salon.
(We have a legal adviser who will write your agreement.)
Being; punctual, organized, responsible, tidy and skilled with a friendly accommodating personality.
We have a private cutting/styling room in our salon with natural light if you prefer an even quieter space to work in.
Bookings would be made through a salon software system, enabling your clients to book through any device (pc, ipad, mobile, etc).
You would be working along with me, (salon director) and two female Hair stylists
You should have at least 5 years experience in hairdressing, or be truly exceptional.
You must speak fluent English and to be able to connect with the clients and offer them skillful advice on their personal style. Good luck! We look forward to meeting you and showing you the new salon.
