Soul Gardeners are looking for an experienced gardener to join our small team. We work in Balham, Clapham, Battersea and Tooting. Applicants must be able to travel to these areas with ease for 8am starts.
We are primarily a garden maintenance company, but also do planting, larger garden tidy ups and some tree surgery.
Pay will be dependant on experience.
We are looking for a fit individual who is punctual, polite, hard working and committed to learning about horticulture.
Job roles:
Loading and unloading tools, weeding, clearing green waste, cutting lawns, dead heading and pruning (depending on experience).
Applicants must have at least an intermediate level of plant knowledge and must be able to demonstrate this on the job.
Applicants must be able to use hand tools such as hoe, Rakes and Brooms, but also have experience using petrol operated Blowers, hedge trimmers and lawn Mowers.
This is a very physical job, which requires you to be on your feet most of the day, with a lot of lifting. Applicants will be expected to work in all weather conditions and wear/bring appropriate clothing for the job.
Qualifications are a bonus.
