The estate is set in 35 acres with 2 acres of formal lawns, bedding around the house, a walled kitchen garden with a substantial greenhouse growing a mixture of fruit and vegetables, Koi and informal ponds and Japanese Garden, Folly, woodlands, paddocks and stabling for quality dressage horses and a private fenced deer park with 30 Fallow deer.
The applicant must have excellent horticultural knowledge and experience working in a kitchen garden is essential as is the ability to multi-task on the various daily gardening responsibilities and be enthusiastic and self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative within a small but dedicated team. Applicants should have a range of practical skills and ATV, spray and chainsaw certificates are desirable.
