Experienced Full - Time Housekeeper in Hampstead - Private Residence.
The property is a 7 Storey town house which is the family’s main residence Monday to Friday.
The candidate would need to be fit, as there are a lot of stairs! There are 5 bedrooms and bathrooms, and the lady of the house is often at home so the candidate needs to be able to be discreet and adjust their workload to suit her movements (no vacuuming on the same floor as her/staying out of her way).
They would be responsible for dealing with the dry cleaning, which is picked up and dropped off twice a week. Laundry is also a key part of the role, and the candidate will need to have knowledge and experience of dealing with delicate fabrics.
They will need to be able to work on their own, and under their own initiative.
Occasional short term childcare (ie picking the children up from school when required, a short walk from the property) may be required on occasion.
It would be a normal housekeeper position responsible for all cleaning and laundry in the property. The working hours are 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday.
Salary is £30,000 pa.
