We currently have vacancies for Full-Time EXPERIENCED Housekeeping staff in our 46 bedroom 1-star hotel in Victoria, Central London. experience in Central London would be an advantage. The salary for this position is £7.83 per hour (upon completion of a successful probationary period).

We are able to offer the following shifts: 5 - 6 days per week, 7am - 3pm daily.

Please apply for this position, only if you are able to work on the aforementioned shift patterns and additional ad-hoc shifts as and when required, and work well as part of a team.

Duties will include:

* Continental Breakfast Preparation and Serving.
* Changing Towels, bed linen, vacuuming, buffing, mopping,
* General cleaning of all rooms and bathrooms.
* Replenishing items such as shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet rolls.
* Checking rooms to ensure everything is working to include but not limited to; remote controls, batteries, light bulbs.
* To do a full inventory of all rooms and check and replace small items and report any larger items to the Hotel Manager.
* Emptying bins
* Litter picking
* Cleaning internal Windows
* Carpet cleaning when required
* Other work may include deep cleaning of certain areas, which would include but not limited to, cleaning mould.
* Cleaning of communal areas including corridors, lobbies, reception and dining area. This will include wiping down paint work, mopping and vacuuming.
* Cleaning of the office and kitchen area, including washing up, using dishwasher etc.

You will need the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience as a hotel chambermaid.
* Be well organised and be able to work in a busy hotel.
* Be of smart appearance at all times.
* Be service orientated, observing hotel standards.
* Have excellent communications skills
* Be dynamic and able to work under pressure.
* Team work and co-operation
* Sometimes heavy lifting maybe be involved.
