Experienced Front end Volunteer web Developer by Small Charity for Exciting new Project

Posted: Today
Place: Westminster, London

Hi. We're looking for one or two experienced front end web developers, with a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and design software, to join our website team and help us develop a truly amazing website.
Who are we? Well, we're The Wisdom Trust (charity number 1112323) - a small charity based in London and run entirely by volunteers. But we think we’ve just come up with what we hope will turn out to be a brilliant new campaign, to make a real difference all over the world, and we'd really like to launch it later this year.
But we're going to need an amazing new website to do it justice. So we're now planning a major overhaul of our tired old website to make it much more exciting and relevant.
With that in mind, over the next three or four months, we aim to create a brighter, more exciting website, that's fun to use and ready for what we hope will be a fantastic new online campaign, starting in the Summer or Autumn, depending on when we can get the website ready.
Can you help us?
We’re looking for people with the right level of skills and experience who have some time on their hands to help us over the next few months so that we can ensure that what we present to the world later in the year is educational, inspiring, fun and exciting.
If we do our job right, the new campaign will hit all the right buttons and help us achieve our charitable goals a) to create a wider awareness about the big important global issues affecting the future of our planet and b) to raise funds so we can make donations to support charities and good causes all over the world.
So if you’ve got a good level of skills and experience in web development (especially HTML and CSS, together with good creative skills too), we’d love to hear from you and organise a time when we can meet up have a chat with you.
If you believe you're the right person for us in either the short term and/or the long term, and you have the skills we need plus some time to help us between now and the Summer, drop us a quick reply to this advert, together with your CV and a brief covering letter about why you think you could be the right person to help us.
Please note that as it says in the title of the advert, these are voluntary unpaid positions just now to get the website up and running, but we could well be interested in taking the right people on in a few permanent full-time or part-time salaried roles later in the year. So let us know if that could also be of interest to you.
Thanks. We really look forward to hearing from you.
