Sweet Pea are looking for an experienced Florist to join us working across weddings, contracts and shop work.
We are looking for someone dynamic and committed to become a valued member of our small team.
The role of experienced florist is varied so we are looking for someone who can confidently deliver all aspects of floristry to a high standard.
Superb organisational, management and customer service skills are a must.
A minimum of 5 years experience is essential to be a senior member of the team, as is being conscientious and exercising attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves :
Making contracts, weddings and shop orders in the Sweet Pea style to a high standard
Ensuring up-coming weddings and events are prepped and organised
Managing junior members of the team, sharing your experience and inspiring them with your passion!
Managing the smaller weddings; ordering the flowers and liaising with the clients and venues, installing them
Being responsible for making sure the shop is looking tip- top, fully-stocked and the flower stand sings. Plant knowledge too would be useful
Being involved in our social media posts
To teach occasional workshops
Occasional market run
Essentials:
A minimum of 5 years experience across all aspects of floristry.
A clean drivers license and confident driving a van in London.
Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
Fantastic customer service skills
Great attitude; passionate, punctual, polite with an interest in current trends and styles
Happy working 1-2 Saturdays per month
The days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturdays.
