Due to a change in staffing, we are looking for an energetic and experienced individual to join our friendly pharmacy team on a part-time basis covering Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Competitive salary, holiday, pension and generous staff discount.
Job Responsibilities:
- To dispense and self-check medication for patients, ready to receive a final accuracy check, including dossette box preparation and management.
- To manage the receipt, processing, storage and stock control of medicines and other supplies.
- Carry out relevant pharmacy administration (prescription filing, repeat form filing, counting and end of month processing).
- To respond to enquiries and requests from staff, patients and carers.
- To be responsible for efficient and safe organisation and workflow in the dispensary including surgery runs and deliveries.
experience and Skills:
Either relevant experience within a pharmacy dispensary and/or equivalent NVQ certificate required.
Proactive team player
Compliant with SOPs
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Available for work on Friday, Saturday and an additional week day.
