Coriander Buildings Ltd. Supplies clients within many construction areas from large scale new build developments through to smaller interior fit outs and refurbishments.
We are currently recruiting for experienced Working Construction Site Project Manager, experienced 1st and 2nd fix Carpenters, Labourers and Van Driver.
CONSTRUCTION SITE PROJECT MANAGER
Will be reporting to Construction Director. Will be responsible for the running and oversee all activities within the site as well as performing the work within your trade area of expertise. Will be responsible for the successful delivery of all installation activities within the allocated time frame, resource plan and at the highest standard. Ensure Building and H and S regulations are followed. Build and maintain good team relationships and collaboration, empower and help the team achieve their growth targets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant experience in the construction industry and at least 4 years construction site project management experience
- Relevant construction qualifications
- First aid qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of the Health and Safety procedures
- Excellent Site Management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and empower your project team
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Be pro-active, conscientious and have a flexible approach to work
- Ability to work well under targets in a pressurised, fast paced, construction environment
- Reliable, punctual, hard-working and maintain a professional attitude to all tasks
- Be able to provide two references
1st and 2nd FIX CARPENTERS
- Hold CSCS card
- Have at least 3 years joinery/ carpentry work experience
- Have own tools - minimum requirements is full hand kit and cordless
- Have full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - hard hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves and goggles )
- Be able to attend and pass carpentry trade test and interview in our SE London workshop or on designated site
- Be able to work with high value wood products
- Have experience in manufacturing furniture frames (beneficial)
- Be able to operate on most of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Be able to read scaled drawings
- Be able to provide two references
- Be keen to work in pressurised, fast paced, construction environment
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have a high attention to detail and conscientious attitude to work
- Be reliable, punctual, hard-working and maintain a professional attitude to all tasks
CSCS LABOURERS
We are looking for experienced labourers for our busy sites in London. To be considered for this vacancy you must hold CSCS card, have your own PPE and have experience working on a busy construction site.
VAN DRIVER
Experienced driver required (Transit) ideally with a background in labouring, construction, full time job, immediate start.
