Nightjar is currently seeking an experienced Commis chef or Chef de Partie to come and join our kitchen.
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to grow and improve skills and knowledge and become part of a tight-knit, friendly team at a bar which has been voted in the top three bars in the world by Drinks International Magazine four years running.
The position is part time (3 days per week) with shifts starting late afternoon.
- Pay is competitive with excellent tips and tronc.
- We offer a thorough and structured training programme to develop knowledge of service, food and drinks.
Requirements:
- Our kitchen is very small so must be able to work alone
- Carrying out duties in a professional and credible manner
- Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced
- Dedication to highest quality and presentation of food
- Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health and safety guidelines
- Fluent English essential
- Dedication to outstanding service
- Flexibility and willingness to work late nights
- Team spirit and positive attitude
