Experienced children’s nanny/carer
We are looking for caring, fun-loving individuals who want to make a difference to a young disabled child’s life. Your enthusiasm, dedication and caring attitude is required to care for a young boy with complex needs living at home.
The successful candidate will be required to support with personal care, peg feeding and medication management. You will need to be proactive and support with community activities and have a good working knowledge of play therapy as this is an integral part of the daily routine. Full training will be provided for the right person.
The hours of work are:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3.00pm to 7.00pm with some weekend work.
Good rates of pay, based on experience
You must be reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic.
Ongoing training updates
Good communication skills
Ability to be proactive
experience with peg feeding and medication management.
All applicants invited for interview will need to provide two references and, if successful, will need to have enhanced DBS checks.
Qualifications: QCF (NVQ) 3 or equivalent is desirable.
You will need to be a confident driver, over 25, with a full UK driving licence and able to drive a Motability vehicle.
Salary: £11.00 to £13.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience).
Candidates must be authorised to work in the EEC.
