A small, family owned sourdough cafe/bakery is looking for experienced full time Chef/Baker in Battersea SW11.
We have a friendly and fun restaurant with a focus on home made goods. We make everything from scratch including hollandaise, sourdough crumpets, sourdough, jams, butter, marmalade, pancakes, french toast etc.
experience is essential, we focus on high quality breakfast and brunch service and we are currently developing our lunch menu. It's a busy little place, especially at the weekends with queues out the door!
Some experience of baking cakes and sourdough bread is desirable although training will be provided.
Hours to be negotiated although this is a full-time position.
Starting salary at £9 per hour. After 2 months will rise to £10 per hour. This works out at over £24,000 pa. Plus share of service charge
Weekend work is essential.
