Our team is small and you'll be decorating across our entire range of products from our customer order cakes, to one off custom cakes and our whole range of Flavourtown cupcakes. You'll need previous professional industry experience for this role and be willing to work hard, our kitchen is a really busy fast paced environment and we are extremely detail driven.
The position is five days per week and some weekend work will be required, your duties will include decorating, some fondant work and making sure that we're prepped with delicious things like meringue kisses and chocolate Barks.
You: We're looking for a friendly, hard working detail driven individual who takes direction well, has ideas and has a real flair for decorating and current trends. You'll arrive at work every morning eager to see what we're working on each day and you'll be happy to immerse yourself into our world. You'll need to be adaptable and be excited to try new things.
Starting salary of this position is £9.50 to £10 per hour based on a 40 hour week. You'll receive 29 days holiday including a day and a cake on your birthday along with staff cinema trips and lots of cake to sample and Munch on.
We work primarily with buttercream, cream cheese icing, ganache and Swiss meringue buttercream although we do occasionally work in fondant for special customer orders.
