Experienced Cafe Staff for immediate start.
We are looking for a person with a sunny personality and the following essential qualities to join our team in this busy local cafe:
Job description Ensure customers are served in a friendly and efficient manner and the café areas are set up and maintained to highest standard.
Setting up, serving and cleaning the café areas.
Ensure café areas are kept clean and tidy, comply with all Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements and keep all records up to date.
Accurate use of till system and cash handling.
Provide the highest quality of food and beverages consistently for all customers - the job entails rotating with other cafe workers between preparing food and waiting tables.
To ensure the correct storage and rotation of stock.
Personal Specification
Previous experience in the food service industry.
Flexible approach to work as shifts can be early morning, late evening, and Bank Holidays, as well as weekends to cover leave.
You can be asked to work extra hours at short notice.
Ability to cook
A passion for the food and service sector.
Effective communicator Team player Demonstrate and understand customer care.
Full-time - 3 or 5 days per week. approximately 36 hours per week. Pay is £8.40 p/h or £7.80 aged 25 or under Annual Leave is statutory at 28 days p.a. Pro rata.
Part-time - 3 days per week - either Fri, Saturday and Sun or Saturday , Sun and  Mon.
