As a Head Barista you will have all of the above along with the experience and desire to ‘own’ the coffee offering, taking responsibility for calibrating the machine and grinder and adapting those to the environment as the day progresses, as well as performing basic maintenance. You will work closely with the roastery, keeping in touch with trends and ideas for new drinks as well as training junior baristas and maintaining the quality and consistency of our brews.
Benefits and rewards:
* Competitive pay rates with early pay rise for strong performers
* Career development - as an expanding business we offer routes into management for those who wish to progress their career
* Training - you will have the opportunity to work closely with our local coffee roaster, with training provided to supplement your existing skills, plus invitations to the roastery and to cupping events
* Proper contracts, no zero hours contracts
* Flexible working hours - we can offer either four or five day weeks to suit your lifestyle
* 28 days annual leave
* Staff and Family discounts

Please apply by email with an up-to-date CV and covering note, mentioning which location you would like to work at. Due to the high volume of applicants we will only reply to those who have the appropriate level of relevant experience. In your covering note please explain in a short paragraph why the Larder is right for you and how the Larder would benefit from your experience.
Please give thought to travel arrangements before applying, as these are not central London roles.
