We have a terrific opportunity for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our small enthusiastic team, with potential to progress to Assistant Manager in the medium term.
A good command of the English language is essential, along with a minimum two years experience at supervisor level or above.
Skills requirements:
Customer service - a keen focus on excellent customer service, and to quickly develop strong relationships with our many regular customers.
People Management - able to supervisor a team of bartenders, and support the AM/GM in the management and training of a team diverse individuals. To develop strong working relationships with the entire team.
Bookings - able to manage weekly bookings in an efficient manner.
Sales - ability to increase sales through customer bookings, recommendations, and upselling techniques etc.
Cocktail experience - strong knowledge of classic cocktails, and the ability to new cocktails and menus
Product knowledge - understanding and knowledge of a wide range of whiskies, Beers and other spirits
Other useful experience:
Bar management experience - strong knowledge of P and L’s, stock control, licensing and marketing.
Finance - knowledge of General Practitioner , margins and wage percentages.
Health and Safety - understanding all procedures associated with them.
