Experienced Baker required for Day/Evening at Beyond Bread - London’s Leading Gluten Free Bakery
West London Production Kitchen – £20k (negotiable dependant on experience)
An exciting opportunity for an Experienced Baker to join a team of dedicated chefs in this Central Production Kitchen producing gluten free baked goods for café, bakeries and exclusive supermarket chains across London. This is a day/evening shift 2pm to 11pm - So not a night time baking
As Baker you are responsible to support the Production and Bakery manager with bakery production and kitchen duties to meet the company standard
Your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Monitor all duty schedules in the bakery operation
• Create high quality and creative bakery products to the business’ current standards
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with new recipes and preparation techniques
• Assist the Head Baker in all aspects of production and managing your section
• Ensure highest standards of hygiene within the kitchen
The successful baker will be expected to support and develop the more junior members of the brigade, taking pride in passing on knowledge and effectively supervising the chefs
Reporting directly to the Head Baker, the successful candidate for this role will have:
• 1 + years’ experience as a Baker
• Worked in quality busy central production kitchens
• A passion for bakery with a desire to work hard
• Keen to learn and progress their career
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Hands on approach
