We are a family of 5 (mum, dad, girl aged 7, boy aged 5 and girl aged 20 months) and we are looking for a lovely, kind and experienced au pair/mother's help to become part of our family.
We live in a very pretty suburb in North West London, close to Golders Green. Our home is close to stations, bus Stops, parks and shops and is only a 25 minute train ride to Central London.
We are looking for someone who is already in London or the UK and has significant experience working with young children including toddlers. Ideally we would like someone who has been an au pair before in a home in the UK. Must have very good English. We are looking for someone who is able to stay for at least 12 months. There also may be the opportunity to travel abroad with us on holiday in the summer.
Both parents work (Dad is a lawyer and works full time; Mum works part time) so we need someone responsible, enthusiastic, fun, friendly and with initiative to take care of our gorgeous kids and our home. There is some sole charge of the children.
The role is as follows:
- 25 hours per week (30 if you are willing and able to manage all of the cleaning in the house ie. More heavy cleaning)
- 7.30 - 9am / 2.45 - 6.45pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 7.30 - 9am / 4 - 6.45pm on Thursday and Friday (additional hours of your choice if you are able to do all of the cleaning)
- Two nights babysitting per week including either Saturday or Sunday night
- Light housework including unloading dishwashers, tidying house, changing sheets, laundry, cleaning kitchen floor, tidying kitchen after meals etc
- Collecting youngest child from nursery 3 days per week (walking distance from home), taking her to playground, playing with her at home etc
- Looking after all three children occasionally (sole charge)
- Basic cooking for children
Salary/Pocket Money: £150 per week / £180 if you are able to do all of the household cleaning
You will have your own room with TV and Wifi. You will share a bathroom with the children.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
