We are looking for an experienced after school nanny for 20 hours per week (3pm to 7pm) to look after our 4 and 9 year old boys. The nanny must be able to drive and have her own car, as the job will involve picking the children up from school. The nanny will need to help the children with their homework, prepare their evening meal, bathe them and do the laundry. We need someone who is organised, able to stick to a routine and keep track of the children’s commitments (prepare school bags for the next day, answer party invites etc.).
We are looking for someone who is reliable and punctual who has a good command of written and spoken English. You would need to be happy spending time with the children, playing with them and be willing to read to them. We are looking for someone with experience of being a nanny before and who can motivate both children to complete their homework. We do need a confident driver with a clean UK driving licence who is also able to make simple home cooked meals.
