Experienced full time Linen/ House Porter required to start urgently at fantastic hotel in Central London.
Omni Facilities Management Ltd is an established provider of Housekeeping Staff to many of the UK’s largest and most luxurious hotels. Currently we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person for the position of Linen/ House Porter.
As a Linen/ House Porter you will be responsible for assisting with guest requests or queries and following any tasks issued by Supervisors or Management.
Role Description:
This is a customer focused role, which provides full Housekeeping coverage to hotel guests.
Duties will include.
• Check all cupboards, organize them and keep them full.
• Assisting with the rooms set up when required.
• Answer the bleep (straight away).
• Keep the service areas clean and tidy.
• Wait for the linen delivery at the times specified by the hotel.
• Organize linen.
• Start collecting the dirty linen at the time specified by the Housekeeper.
• Collect dirty linen at the time specified by the Housekeeper.
• Bring all the dirty linen to the Linen Room, classify it and count it.
• Fill the laundry trolley with the same item and fill in the form, with a copy to the Laundry.
• Ripped off linen goes in a separate trolley. This must be counted and sent back with the copy’s form to the Laundry.
• Once clean linen is received, it must be checked against the form (copy) already sent.
