We have an exciting position as a talented Assistant Chef for strong junior sous, or senior chef de partie who are ready to make their mark on the London food scene for the launch of our restaurant, Pickled Fred, focusing on Asian-inspired small plates and cocktails all with some sort pickled or preserved element.
You will be working alongside experienced hospitality individuals, to be part of a unique and innovative food menu. At least 3 years' experience as any of these roles and loves working with fresh produce with the opportunity to inspire other individuals.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to have operational responsibility of the kitchen when the head chef is not there, and continue to train with the influence and knowledge of leading chefs within the industry.
Key roles, responsibilities and skills include:-
- Delivering an exciting food offering and working with fresh produce.
- Strong communication skills essential.
- Working and liaising with local suppliers and producers.
- Ensuring all company procedures are adhered to with regards to health and safety, hygiene and licensing.
- Manage and oversee the food quality from the kitchen to ensure standards and customer expectations are met.
- Knowledge of pan-Asian cuisine preferred, but not essential.
