Not for profit social enterprise delivering healthcare services is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support their Chief Executive at their East London offices. This is a temporary role to start as soon as possible for an initial 3 month period and will pay up to £25.00 per hour dependant on experience.The main duties of the Executive Assistant will include:" Delivering high quality support to the Chief Executive in particular in relation to handling correspondence from Commissioners, service users, local authorities, GPs and other health bodies." Preparing correspondence and documents for the Chief Exec and his team, including minute taking of meetings, ensure the Chief Executive and his team are appropriately prepared with papers, agendas and briefing material prior to meetings and appointments and prompting actions when deadlines are approaching." Administering and managing diaries on a day to day basis ensuring that it is accurate and up to date." Providing first point of contact for all telephone calls to the Chief Executive and the his team." Organising and overseeing the arrangements for visits to the service and responsibility for the co-ordination of corporate events, including arranging appropriate travel and accommodation arrangements." Maintaining a highly confidential service, working with often highly sensitive information, and making informed judgements on the appropriateness of sharing this when requested to.The ideal Executive Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:" Substantial experience of working as an Executive Assistant at Executive Director or senior manager level." RSA III Word-processing (or equivalent)" Extensive experience of working with senior level staff and in managing confidential issues and matters" experience of taking minutes at formal meetings." Understanding of confidentiality and data protection" Demonstrable experience of dealing with matters of a highly sensitive nature in a competent and aware manner" experience of drafting/preparing letters/memos on behalf of senior staff" Able to produce correspondence, reports, emails, presentations, project plans and spreadsheets, including delegated responsibility for projects, assignments and the production of reports" Excellent verbal and communication and interpersonal skills" Able to work under pressure, responding to competing demands which are varied and non-routine in nature."
