Professional couple seek an exceptional nanny for our son born September 2021. The role will be sole charge working from 7:30am - 7pm Monday to Friday. Potential for some flexibility on Fridays. Start August/early September 2022. Part time start early August preferred.
Background
Mom is originally from the USA but has lived in the UK for 10 + years and has French family. Dad is English. We are looking to bring baby up bi-lingual so French and English language skills would be helpful, but not essential.
Baby is mobile, energetic, bright and fascinated by the world. We are looking for an attentive, flexible, organised and outgoing nanny to care for him. He is Smiley and gregarious.
Role includes
- Taking care of baby’s needs
- Engaging with baby at our home and at classes (baby sensory, swim, etc.)
- Preparing, cooking and feeding meals for baby.
- Planning holistic development opportunities.
- Keeping parents informed on a daily basis on activities and events.
- Preparing for special occasions and caring for baby when he is unwell.
- Cleaning and tidying associated with baby.
- Laundry associated with baby and family.
- Tidying and cleaning nursery, play area and baby equipment.
- Taking responsibility for day to day spend associated with baby.
- Evening babysitting once a week and occasional weekends by agreement.
- Potentially occasional travel within UK, Europe and rest of the world.
We live in Limehouse/Wapping in East London, with easy access to local parks, Canary Wharf and public transport.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience caring for children of a similar age. Relevant degrees in childcare a plus. Strong english communication skills a must; French language skills a bonus but not essential. Above all we are looking for someone fit and active who will care deeply for our son and who is going to work hard to help bring him up the right way.
