What’s the gig?
You are going to do any number of roles - you will be:

Researching business connections of the CEO using LinkedIn, and helping decide whether they could be potential investors or may know investors who would be interested.
Scheduling calls and meetings with these people, and keeping an Excel spreadsheet of this information (you must be organised!)
On the front-lines with the CEO – you are speaking with, coordinating with, and getting to know future investors, first impressions matter!  Travel is also possible.

But, is this for you?
It is if you can answer these questions in the affirmative…

Are you eligible to work in the UK? And do you live within one hour from London?
Are you a recent graduate (or eligible for an internship), obtaining a 2:2 or above from a UK university?
Are you comfortable using Excel?
Do you have good research skills?
Do you have great communication skills, especially via email (show us in your application)?
Do you write good and speak okay? Or are you the next great speechwriter?
Are you funny? Not David Carr funny, but can hold your own at the Pub Crawl?
Are you highly-motivated and a self-starter? Are you truly entrepreneurial?

We are a small Startup getting a lot of traction – and your role could become very BIG. You have to be able to solve problems, not tell us about them. You have to be the clock-builder, not the time-teller.
We are ultimately looking for someone with the right attitude and entrepreneurial spirit – someone capable of learning quickly and converting that knowledge into driving the business forward.

OWLR (the product) is a new take on an old problem in the ever burgeoning world of home video awareness. Our users are mums and dads, shopkeepers and office workers and kids watching their cat or dog in their home. They are frustrated with Overly-technical products that do not make it easy for them to do what they need to.
OWLR is focusing on making the technical simple and using humor and design to bring about a solid relationship with our users. Our flagship product is a family of apps on both the App Store and the Play Store where we have hit 1.5M downloads and close to 200K monthly active users. Our passion about them is why we want someone to help them get a say in what we do as a company.
