Job Title: Excel Developer / Trainee Robotic Process Automation Developer
Status: Permanent / Contract
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: London and ability to travel in the UK
Job Purpose:
The Developer will be responsible for analysing business processes, developing excel solutions and reproducing them with a robotic process automation tool.
This is a hands-on role that requires good personal and customer facing skills, good attention to detail and an analytical approach.
Accountabilities and responsibilities:
o Transforming business processes by
o Working with clients to record existing business processes
o Analysing and documenting the processes as the basis for automation
o Building the automated business processes in the appropriate tool
o Preparing test plans and executing these against the automated business processes
o Documenting the developed automation Scripts
o Training the clients on the new automated processes
o Any other activities or responsibilities as reasonably set out by the Leadership Team.

Skills:
Expected to show capability in all of these areas:
• High level of computer literacy
• Highly competent in Excel and VBA
• Logical and methodical with a passion for problem solving
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
• Ability to recognise when an issue is escalating and act on this in an appropriate way
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate well

Knowledge and experience
Expected to have knowledge and / or experience in the following areas:
• Numerate related subject at A level
• An understanding of coding languages
• A desire to understand the concepts that apply to business and technology is essential
