Exam Invigilators Required - URGENT
We are the UK’s leading provider of Data Protection compliance Training. As part of our ongoing Qualification Programme, we are looking to recruit invigilators to assist with an upcoming day of examinations on Monday, 18th June. There will be two exams running (one in the morning and afternoon), each three hours long.
Our candidates are typically Lawyers and other Legal Professionals. There will be several hundred candidates being examined on the day.
Role and Responsibilities
As an invigilator your role and responsibilities will include:

Helping to organise candidates at the start and end of each exam.
Helping to provide the correct information to candidates if necessary.
Helping to ensure that the conduct of the exam takes place within the guidelines set down by the Examination Board.
Being vigilant, whilst not disrupting the candidates.
Escorting candidates to the bathroom as required.
Helping to make sure that answer booklets have been completed correctly before collecting in the papers.

Exam invigilators are not required to hold any recognised qualifications, but are required to have:

A good command of written and spoken English.
Sound oral and written communication skills.
A thorough working knowledge of exam procedures which will be provided beforehand.

Personal Qualities
Exam invigilators needs to be:

Confident and able to communicate with staff and pupils.
Team players, with the ability to work on one’s own initiative.
Able to carry out core duties without supervision.
Able to seek help where appropriate
Able to sit without disturbing the candidates for the duration of the exams (three hours per exam)

Prospective Invigilators will need to be:

Smartly dressed
Reliable
Punctual
Personable and polite

Pay/Hours required

Invigilators are paid £10/hr (lunch is provided)
Invigilators will be required from 8.00am to 5.30pm (must be ready to start work at 8.00am).
