Tate Catering is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tate. Our activities range from providing a restorative cup of tea to a weary visitor, right the way through to catering for special events being held by Tate’s corporate sponsors. Our aim is to be the market-leading caterer within the arts and to consistently provide outstanding food, drink and service at the four Tate sites and the other sites within our business.

Tate Entertaining are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and customer focused individuals to add to our core team of Events Assistants in order to deliver exceptional levels of service at both Tate Modern and Tate Britain.

To be successful you will need to have:
- Passion and drive for the catering industry and events.
- Some waiter or dinner service experience in an events environment.
- Good attention to detail when following instructions.
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently.

From conferences to film premieres and everything in between, this is a great opportunity for individuals who love hospitality but are unable to always work full time hours. This is a permanent position with part-time hours, mainly Monday- Friday but with occasional weekend work. Hours offered vary from week-to-week, but can be over 40 hours with September to December and March to July being the busiest periods. In the quieter months such as January and August this can fall to 1-2 events per week. Availability to work a mix of daytimes and evenings is essential.
