Party Ingredients Catering Services is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic Event Sales Assistant (administrator) to support our busy City portfolio of events venues.
The role requires some London events market experience, creative flair and excellent admin, communication and organisational skills. We work across the events market with in house catering contracts with full venue management, sole caterer contracts and accreditation on supplier lists at many of London's most exciting event spaces. We are active in the corporate, private and charity sectors, handling an average of 25 events each week. Our sales and marketing team is 9 strong and based in a central office in South Quay (Canary Wharf).
This role will encompass supporting the full cycle of initial enquiry, proposal, follow ups, tastings, site visits, venue liaison and event client support.
We are looking for an ambitious, passionate foodie who also wants an entry level role into event catering sales.

-Perfect written and spoken English
-Will have some understand all event catering processes.
-Immaculate personal presentation
-Have a very strong food and drink vocabulary and a good
-Understanding of seasonality and food and drink trends.
We work 08.30 to 17.30 daily - you should expect a couple of evenings each week and occasional weekends at events - particularly if you are handling a wedding venue, but will be scheduled a day off in the week in lieu.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00 /hour (£23k pa on an average 45 hour week, you will work a minimum of 40 hours and up to 50 hours if you do 2 evening events in a week).

Catering: 1 year
Events: 1 year
Administrative: 1 year
Hospitality: 1 year
Required licence or certification: this role would suit a graduate who is interested in events and has had some waiting / bar / events experience through Uni.
EU or UK driving Licence is a bonus
