The key responsibilities of this Events Producer / Director role will be to drive all aspects of a profit and service driven events department with a high level of creativity and passion for service. The Events Producer / Director will be the lead person for the events team across all projects and events, reporting directly into the Company Directors as the link between client and internal logistics, kitchen and warehouse.
They will actively oversee/manage the administration and day-to-day work on client accounts, as well as work alongside the Logistics Manager and Executive Events Chef on the division and allocation of current and upcoming work. They will be expected to actively upward and downward manage to ensure key project deadlines and production requirements are met to a high standard.
They will lead the team by example; taking the lead on larger events and event producing to an extremely high standard.

Responsibilities and experience:
Basic Requirements
· Must be passionate about food and be aware of current food trends.
· Must have experience in a team leadership role, in event production and planning across a variety of business segments.
· Must have previous experience working with chefs.
· Minimum 5 years experience planning, producing and executing high-end events for luxury brands and corporate / private clients.
· Must have experience of forecasting and financial reporting, as well as being computer literate.
· Must have creativity, flair and a passion for service excellence.
· The successful candidate will be immaculately presented. This person thrives in a busy environment, where there is a need to be exceptionally well organised and have an eye for detail, with a desire to deliver at the highest level.
· Excellent client engagement, communication skills and genuine warmth.
· Relied on to report any client or project flags/concerns to the Company Directors.
· Run projects and associated budgets under Company Directors supervision, with Executive Chef / Logistical Management input.
· Divide responsibilities between the junior Events team and actively oversee output.
· Create and manage project documentation to be signed-off by the Company Directors including active involvement in creative processes, responses to briefs, critical paths and budgets.
· Lead client communications, taking hold of the relationship, and presenting updates in face-to-face meetings where the Company Directors lead is not required.
· Maintain momentum on the team’s growth, work, processes and knowledge in a proactive and relevant way.
· Must be fluent in Written and Spoken English (additional languages would be beneficial)
· Must have work authorization for the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for the role.
Specific Responsibilities
Client Relations:
· Confidently build commercial acumen, understanding client sector in terms of their own activity and that of their competitors.
· Drive conversation throughout a project with the senior working project team on a daily basis.
· Ensure the Company Directors have up-to-date information on the elements they are managing so that they are able to update the senior client as and when required with input from the junior team you have collated.
· Manage project team expectations, working with the teams to craft a project scope and timeline from the outset, then be responsible for managing it, consistently monitoring deliverables to ensure they be achieved.
· Provide interim guidance and support for junior team members on their challenges and encourage solution driven thinking.
· Attend any required site visits and provide a high level of event production at key events.
Financial Control:
· Ongoing management of budget per project, with a growing focus on a fee that justifies the hours to be spent on the project.
· Provide weekly status updates to Company Directors on budget progress/spend with the events team’s input.
· Ensure all relevant legal paperwork per project is in place prior to the activation taking place and Bread and Honey procedures are followed, i.e. Insurance informed, H and S documentation presented, per Bread and Honey’s secure server and operations procedures.
Personnel Responsibilities:
· Strategically prioritise project actions and their urgency to ensure successful delivery and efficient time management, as well as the workload of the junior team.
· Ensure all written work is of a consistently high standard both from a technical and content point of view, as well as grammatical – yours and the whole events team.
· Pro-actively join and contribute in internal meetings to further client growth or strategy, including brainstorms, planning sessions and new business discussions.
· Develop industry acumen, demonstrating awareness and understanding of event production solutions and innovations, and pro-actively outreach to existing network and new suppliers to ensure best possible production recommendations and rates.
· Set an example, alongside the team, through an exemplary day to day practice (contact reports, meeting agendas, critical path tracking, time keeping)
· Alert the senior staff team members to any personnel issues of a personal and corporate nature, that may include yourself or others, to be resolved effectively and sensitively.
