Connexions Cuisine are looking for an events planner to fill a vital role in our expanding team. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and are looking for someone with a similar passion. The role
To be responsible for the planning and execution of functions to ensure delivery to our high standards
To meet with clients prior to the function and host tastings with the chef team for potential clients
To liaise with the office, chef and front of house teams to ensure the smooth running of functions
To attend and participate in weekly internal debrief meetings and marketing meetings as required
To be responsible for managing the front of house team, which would include staffing the functions, allocating staff roles, coordinating large events, recruitment, holding staff reviews and training
To attend local wedding fairs and meet with venues we are recommended at to maintain an excellent working relationship with the event managers
It will be partly office based and you would be expected to attend the majority of functions and host on site meetings with clients – perfect for someone who does not want to sit in an office all day!
The individual
They will have at least several years’ experience in events or catering
They will be confident, credible and positive
They will be flexible and capable of working in a high pressure environment
They will be well mannered, well presented and able to interact confidently with clients and the front of house team
They will be a team player and happy to share their knowledge and expertise to develop the enviable reputation of the company
They must be driven and self motivated
Driving license advantageous
A sense of humour is a plus!
Salary and benefits
£31,200 and a 6 month performance review
40 hour week - to suit the needs of the business
The hours vary depending on the needs of the business
Pension scheme available
28 days holiday per year (inc. Bank and public holidays)

We cater for private and corporate clients in their own homes and offices, from small lunches (5-50 covers) to canapé parties and finger buffets (up to 250 covers). The work is varied!
We are recommended caterers at a number of local prestigious wedding and event venues and we provide sit down fine dining weddings (up to 150 covers)
We are a creative company that has grown steadily and we are frequently asked to take on new projects and look at new ventures. We are looking for someone who enjoys new challenges and opportunities and can think outside the box!
