We are seeking a full time Events Coordinator / Trainee Assistant Audiologist to join our team!
Three days per week, you will work and train alongside one of the UK's most respected Audiologists in the private sector, organising, booking and attending Hearing and Tinnitus Events throughout Kent, Essex and South East London.
For the remaining 2 days, you will visit patients in either Kent, SE London or Essex and help them with the maintenance, programming and use of their devices. In order to do this, you will be given the exciting opportunity to learn a new trade and achieve a qualification as an Assistant Audiologist.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and attend all event activities
· Be prepared to travel throughout Kent, Essex and South East London
· Distribute all event confirmation letters to attending prospects.
· Calculate and propose budgets for planned events or exhibitions.
· Research and identify successful event opportunities
· Maintain stock of event supplies
· Visit patients in their homes to help with the cleaning, maintenance, use and programming of their digital hearing aids (subject to training).
Qualifications:
The following attributes are desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate:
· Previous experience in event planning or other related fields
· Strong project managing skills
· Deadline and detail-oriented
· Ability to work well alone and in teams
· An empathetic approach when dealing with elderly patients
· experience in the health care industry
· Driving licence (essential)

Salary: £20,000-24,000 annually (plus commission) dependent on experience
