FHG are working with a a renowned events venue in the City to recruit an Events Head Chef to work very closely with the Group Executive Chef to oversee the overall running of the venue.

The venue has several events spaces with capacities ranging from 100 to 1000 with a comprehensive food offering from canape functions, buffets, fine dining and street food with menu's to suit all tastes.

The Events Head Chef will be an integral part of the team overseeing the running of all functions when the Group Executive Chef is off site. Responsibilities include:

- Overseeing all main events, being the key contact for clients and event managers.
- Managing the day to day running of the event kitchens.
- Carrying out all orders for the next days business.
- Staff training
- Maintaining all health and safety measures.
- Overseeing the night cleaning team

We are keen to hear from experienced Head Chefs or Sous Chefs looking for the next step in their careers. A strong background in high volume event catering and multiple events is a must.
The venue could have up to 6 separate events running at any time therefore strong organisation and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: circa £35k
