Events manager
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and personable Sales Event Manager to sell and manage the party and event bookings at our Venue Lost and Co in Battersea.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, self-motivated and have a proactive approach to work.
As an event manager you'll have responsibility for all booking enquiries as well as putting on a range of events.
The role is very hands-on and often involves working as part of a team.
You need to be proactive, which will involve sourcing new clients and pitching our venue, so a strong element of sales and self promotion of our venue is required.
Types of events
You'll typically work on the following kinds of event:
corporate;
Private parties
fundraising and social events;
promotions and product launches.
As an event manager, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily email booking enquiries and phone calls.
- Responsible for selling and hosting events
- Managing social media to promote the venue
- Suggestions and updating website as and when needed.
- Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements;
- Booking DJ’s, live music
- Planning and organising events at the venue
- liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the events and venue
- Prepared to work on busy Friday and Saturday evening to host party bookings
- Organising ‘showcase’ evenings and playing an important part in various campaigns and promotions
