Restaurant Sales and Events Manager - Shoreditch, London
Overview of the role:
The role of the front of house sales and events manager is to promote the venue and continuously grow the pre-booked business. (i.e. Lunch and dinner reservations, general events, bar area bookings, larger private functions and Christmas parties). There will be a mixture of both reactive and proactive duties to achieve this. You will also be acting as host on the door greeting and seating guests.
Hours:
approximately. 45 per week, Mon-Fri with a mix of lunches and dinner or split shifts although occasional weekends; flexibility required by the needs of the business i.e If you have an event booked it is much appreciated if you stay a bit later to meet and greet the organiser who you have been liaising with on the booking details.
Annual Salary:
OTE Up to £26,000 (Based on experience) + quarterly bonus incentives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and well-presented individual. The applicant must be absolutely fluent in all aspects of spoken and written English. Some sales or events experience within the hospitality sector is necessary, ideally within a restaurant, bar or club.
Other aspects of the role include: Hosting, client show-arounds, email data capture, managing the venue email inbox, and answering all telephone enquiries.
