We are looking for someone to join our office team to help run our exciting and unique event and entertainment agency / toy company specialising in soap bubbles!
Who we are
Bubble Inc ltd was established in 2000 by the world’s expert in soap bubbles, our illustrious bubble leader - Samsam Bubbleman. He has broken 10 Guinness World Records for his bubbles including the World’s Biggest Bubble and the Most People Inside a Giant Bubble!
Our client list includes an impressive list of royalty and celebrities around the world, as well as creating a bubble segment for the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Our business has two main operations: We run a unique event /entertainment agency, selling our team of bubble performers for a wide range of exciting events and media activities around the world, including corporate and family events, science shows, tv and film work, pr stunts, and bespoke events.
We also have a retail arm selling our range of incredible bubble Toys and machines online via our website and online selling platforms, and seasonally, via our festival/event stall.
We're committed to a high level of customer service along with providing a level of expertise that generates trust in our customer base.
We are a small but growing company, with a central team of up to 3 people working in our North London office, and a team of some 10 performers based around the UK, plus a group of staff to run our event stand during our busiest period summer months.
Role responsibilities
There are two main roles you will be fulfilling – helping to run our entertainment agency and to run our online shop. A successful applicant will be able to work on their own as well as part of a team, to fulfil the following tasks:
Agency Roles -
I) Sales - whilst we’re not about any kind of ‘hard’ sell, our aim is to make bookings for our performers. This involves taking enquiries, generating new clients, quoting for bookings, and negotiating where necessary.
Ii) Discussing and developing ideas/ strategies with other members of our team.
Iii) Managing our performers calendar – we have several performers on our books and organisational skills are key.
Iv) Writing gig briefs – once you've taken bookings gig briefs are important so our performers know exactly what is expected of them.
V) Invoicing clients – Making sure payments are made on time and keeping a log of payments.
Online Shop -
I) Order fulfilment of online sales through Shopify / eBay /Amazon.
Ii) Stock management - ordering stock when necessary.
Iii) Customer service: dealing with customers and returns via email and telephone.
Iv) Packing orders and sending them out (during our busy periods in the summer we hire an extra member of staff to take over this role)
Office management -
Managing the office, stationery orders
Keeping the office ordered and tidy
We will offer full training although ideal applicants will have:
Previous experience in the events industry.
Exceptional communication skills. Your phone manner and email correspondence will be of utmost importance on a day to day basis.
Good negotiation skills
Computer literacy
Good organisation and planning skills with great attention to detail.
Self-starter with an ability to work under their own initiative.
Multi-tasking ability with experience of working on multiple clients at any given point.
Positively - a can-do and enthusiastic attitude to help develop: relationships, creative solutions, and new ideas!

The Pay Package:
£18,000 Per year pro rata
The job can be 4 or 5 days a week - We are currently considering options and may be able to offer some flexibility in this respect.
Working hours 9.30-5.30, Monday to Friday.
Location
We're currently based in a converted 100 year old fire station in N15 (close to Seven Sisters tube in N. London), although we are expecting to relocate a short distance away to a new premesis between Northumberland Park and Tottenham Hale stations during 2022.
