We work with an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients delivering fantastic events in some of London’s finest venues including corporate events, private parties, weddings, product launches, fashion shows, film premieres and charity fundraising dinners.
We are currently seeking a confident Event and Sales Assistant with excellent written and verbal communication skills to achieve targeted levels of sales for Tower Bridge, Crown Partnership and associated venues.
The Position
As an Event and Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Employing sales skills to convert enquiries into confirmed business.
Increasing the level of sales and business mix direct from individual clients and via third party bookers/agencies.
Identifying and develop sources of potential business.
Effectively communicating with clients via all types of communication.
Developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
Providing feedback on comments relating to product content, pricing and the company’s performance.
Producing contracts and deposit invoices for the department.
Effectively communicating function details, and the client’s requirements to the operations team.
Attending client and Crown Partnership events.
Providing post-event questionnaires to attendees and collating feedback.
Liaising with colleagues to actively promote sales opportunities and increase professionalism.
Representing Tower Bridge in professional bodies and associations in order to maximize benefits.
Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all products and effectively communicate the benefits to clients.
Providing time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities.
Handling correspondence relating to all selling activities.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be/have:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident and passion to work in the events/hospitality industry.
Strong administration skills
Professional mannerism at all times
Previous experience in sales would be advantageous.
