Your responsibilities as an Evening Housekeeping Porter will include:- Provide an effective and courteous service at all times in all aspects of the department- Assist in the supervision of handling all guests and supervisors requests and hotel linen in accordance with departmental standards to minimise stock costs while maintaining Hotel and Company standards- Ensure that clean linen and Towels are delivered to designated pantries and there is adequate stock kept on the floors- Liaise with room attendants and supervisor in ensuring recycling process is followed throughout the hotelWe are looking for The ideal Evening Housekeeping Porter will:- Have previous cleaning experience- Understand of the importance a clean room and the last impression this achieves- Understand the manual nature of the room i.e. Moving of furniture and linen cages- Have previous linen porter experience- Be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends- Be confident to speak to guests and able to explain/sell services/facilities- Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
