As an Evaluation and Learning Manager you will play a key role in helping us better understand the changes brought about through the work we fund. You will lead the design, development and management of monitoring, evaluation and learning activities across a number of issue-specific grant portfolios that are supported by Comic Relief’s corporate and institutional partners. This is a diverse role, involving supporting individual organisations we fund to strengthen their monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) systems; designing and managing innovative learning studies and evaluations across grant portfolios; and managing complex initiative MEL frameworks to feed into reporting for our corporate and institutional funding partners. You will need to be able to work closely with others across teams to ensure our learning remains relevant, timely and useful for the organisations we fund, for our partners and for Comic Relief.
The post will cover a mix of larger and smaller portfolios with a strong focus on some of our DFID-funded initiatives, but may also cover some of our UK-based partner funded work. We would value experience from either the UK charity sector or the international development sector and a willingness to work creatively across both, as well as experience of working with large-scale institutional donors.
