We are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Tutor to support our Traineeship programme and deliver Functional Skills in English AND Maths and Employability qualifications to adult learners from Entry Level to Level 2.
Applicants with English / Maths skills who are working towards a Tutor qualification also considered.
Will be required to administer BKSB initial and diagnostic assessments. Complete accurate course funding paperwork in a timely manner. To provide learners with direct delivery of ESOL / English AND Maths with embedded vocational aspects. Ability to speak another language an advantage but not essential.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and flexible approach to learning as tutoring is often delivered on a one-to-one basis and not in a typical classroom environment. Have the ability to prepare and write Individual Learning Plans and deliver English and Maths sessions to suit the individual needs of learners. The successful candidate may also be required to facilitate practice and final testing of the Construction Industry CSCS Health and Safety on-screen test.
The post is Full-Time (Monday to Friday).
Salary is £21,500, rising to £23,500 on successful completion of probation.
