Our client is looking for an equine groom to join the team of professionals on a permanent full-time basis at their estate in Hampshire. You will be responsible for the day-to-day care of 13 horses. The client is considering both live-in and live-out candidates. The accommodation will be provided for live-in candidates.
Your responsibilities will include:
Tacking up
Exercising the horses (may include riding)
Care of tack and equipment
Preparing for, and attending competitions
Everyday care of the horse
General yard duties
May include keeping records of vaccinations, worming, Farrier etc.
You might also have to transport the horse/s to and from competition
Requirements:
At least 2 + years in grooming
BHS Stage 3 Care (EQL Level 3 Diploma in Horse Knowledge and Care), or the equivalent level of WBD or SVQ
Good communication skills
Excellent spoken English
Ability to work in Hampshire
Ideally immediate availability
