Peabody has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Supervisor to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time permanent  basis and will receive a competitive salary of £25,500 per annum.
The Environmental Supervisor role:
A great Opportunity has arisen for a Public realm supervisor with in the Estate Services, this role will be part of a team of 4 supervising up to 20 staff engaged on street cleaning and grounds maintenance works in the Thamesmead area. Peabody has invested heavily in the team in terms of both revised staffing levels and a new operational base in 2021 with state of the art equipment.
This an opportunity for a experienced supervisor with horticultural skills with the drive to maintain and develop the landscape areas and the team they are responsible for.
The package starts at £25,500 for 35 hours including a dedicated company van for travel to and from home.
Knowledge/experience/skills required by the Environmental Supervisor:
Essential:
- Current driving licence
- 2 Years Proven experience in the provision of grounds services and cleaning ideally in a supervisory position.
- Professional and technical skills in grounds and landscape services.
- experience of team supervision in a large multi-site based environment.
- experience of working with staff in a DLO / commercial environment.
- experience of using hand held IT equipment.
Desirable:
- Multi-site working / mobile supervision in a company van.
- Competent IT skills (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
Qualifications required:
- Good standard of general education
- NVQ Level3 or equivalent in Horticulture.
