A South West London law firm (SW12) have an opening to take on a paralegal on a full time, permanent basis. This is an entry level post suitable for candidates with good academic qualifications who have completed the LPC. The firm deals with conveyancing, private family law, immigration and Wills and probate matters and as a minimum applicants must have achieved a pass in at least 2 of the 4 areas on the LPC. Ideally candidates should have also gained some practical experience in at least one of the legal areas listed.
The successful candidate will be undertaking a role of assisting the solicitors with these areas as needed. Good IT skills are needed and candidates must live locally to the firm. The firm's policy is to provide training contracts to it's paralegal employees who have shown a level of commitment and worked competently as a paralegal during the initial 14 to 16 months, post successful probation. Starting salary £14K to £16K per annum, depending on experience, rising if the candidate becomes a trainee in line with guidelines. Office hours: 9.30 am until 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
