Caring, reliable and energetic people, Teaching Assistants and healthcare workers, who have experience with assisting children or adults with special needs in their homes and local community, this can be in a personal, voluntary or paid capacity
We are looking for candidates who are fit and fun and enjoy playing and sports. Those with a medical/nursing background are particularly needed. We also support children and adults with complex care needs and also who need tube feeding, or assistance with epilepsy, administration of medication. Training is given.
You must have a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and be prepared to have a DBS check carried out.
We work in all areas within support work, healthcare, personal assistants, manual handling, epilepsy, autism and challenging behaviours and mentoring, tube feeding. Special People also need Support workers who are able to encourage play and social skills with our Clients, as well as support them with independent living skills.
Verifiable references required and clear spoken English is essential.
We have an ongoing recruitment policy with full and part time positions, from 2 hour bookings to 40/50 hours per week, also offering permanent and temporary weekend roles near to you and throughout Greater London with flexible working conditions. You can choose how many hours you want to work per week.
Excellent rates of pay from £9.75 per hour on weekdays and Weekend rates from £11.00 for those with experience. We can take on Trainees, who are able to start work after 8 shadowing sessions and a successful appraisal.
