Drake and Morgan – The Parlour Bar, Canary Wharf - Host roles available with immediate start
Salary c£7.50 per hour + service charge (up to 40 hours a week)
We are currently recruiting for an energetic, customer focused host.
The role
The main purpose of this job role is to be the first point of contact for all The Parlour customers – face to face, by telephone or by email. You will meet, greet and seat all guests in a professional, courteous and friendly manner whilst being fully versed in the table plan and events business during the shift.
Responsibilities;
• Present customers with menus and wine lists and ensure that the station waiter is aware that customers have been seated.
• To be smartly dressed and well presented in accordance with The Parlour grooming policies, ready to ensure that all customers are greeted with a smile and a welcome and are shown to their table in a friendly and professional manner.
• To print all table plans before each service and to co-ordinate the seating plans for both restaurant and private dining areas ensuring the best use of the available space.
• To communicate all booking information and special requests to the manager on duty.
• To provide the floor team with support and assistance where needed and as directed by the manager on duty.
• Ensure that all incoming enquiries, are dealt with promptly and professionally, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to firm booking.
• To answer the telephone in a friendly courteous and attentive manner, listening to customer requirements and enquiries, giving advice about service style, products and events
• Ensure that customer requirements are clearly communicated to relevant departments, to ensure that our customer experience is exceptional.
